Keaton and Cline, 1922. He buys a wagonload of furniture, blunders into a police parade, and is hunted by what looks like the whole department. First National released it. The last image, the gravestone, is the film telling you how the chase ends. Later selected for the National Film Registry. Not a wasted setup.
