Directed by Edward F. Cline, Buster Keaton
Keaton, 1921: a bank clerk, a hold-up, and a theatrical troupe haunting a house that is also a counterfeit plant. Directed with Edward F. Cline. Virginia Fox again. The ghosts are actors; the money is fake; the teller is the only person who thinks the job is real. Two reels of a man walking into other people's plots. The haunted house is a set, which is the joke and the method.
