Shot entirely in two-color Technicolor, the first feature in Technicolor's subtractive two-color process (The Gulf Between, 1917, had used the additive one); Joseph M. Schenck and the Technicolor company used it as a demonstration. About fifty-four minutes. Wong carries a lead Hollywood would not give her again for years. The color is candy. The contract is the plot.
