Laurel and Hardy's first official pairing as a billed team, 1927: a Scotsman in kilts (Stan) arrives in America and Ollie is told to put pants on him. Clyde Bruckman directed. The street, the crowd, the kilt that will not become trousers. Two reels of a culture gag that is really a body gag. It is the short in which the studio noticed they were a pair.
