Directed by David Burton, Otto Brower
Otto Brower and David Burton, Paramount, 1931. Gary Cooper is Clint Belmet, a scout talked out of jail when Bill Jackson and Jim Bridger (Ernest Torrence, Tully Marshall) get Felice (Lili Damita) to say they married. He joins her wagon train west. Billed from Zane Grey's 1929 novel; the AFI notes the screenplay by Leahy, Paramore, and Thompson has little of the book. Shot in part in Sonora, California. A talkie sitting on a silent-west list.
