The Patchwork Girl of Oz

Ojo, Unc Nunkie, a mule, Dr Pipt's powder of life, and Scraps, a rag doll who wakes up and petrifies half the cast. Scraps is a dancer in a costume, and the film is happiest when it lets her be one. L. Frank Baum produced his own book at the Oz Film Manufacturing Company in Los Angeles in 1914, with Fred Woodward in the animal suits, and the company failed within the year.
