A Gentleman of Paris

A marquis seduces every girl he meets, including his valet's wife, and pays for it when the valet fixes a card game. Adolphe Menjou is the marquis and the valet is the film. Harry d'Abbadie d'Arrast had been Chaplin's assistant on A Woman of Paris, so this is the Lubitsch touch by someone who watched it being invented. Paramount, 1927.
