A ship fire, a lost daughter, two prospectors who raise her, and the Chilkoot Pass in real snow. The Gold Rush was built on a Hollywood lot a year later; this is the cold it was imitating, in the first feature shot entirely in Alaska. Lewis Moomaw for the Alaska Moving Picture Corporation, 1924, eighty-seven minutes.
