Bryan Foy, Warner Bros., 1928. Often cited as the first all-talking feature: two barbers pulled into a bootleg racket, Helene Costello and Cullen Landis up front. About an hour of early Vitaphone awkwardness. The Archive/Commons copies preserve the clunky blocking that made later talkies look graceful.
