William A. Seiter, 1925, Universal: a teenager with permissive parents (May McAvoy) gets too far into the Jazz Age and has to be retrieved. The Mad Whirl is the title the studio gave to drinking. It is a flapper picture that wants to be a sermon and is a dance, and McAvoy is the girl the sermon cannot quite catch.
