The Lost Battalion

The men of the 77th Division who were cut off in the Argonne in October 1918 play themselves a year later, Major Whittlesey and Captain McMurtry among them. A reenactment with the original cast, and in the ravine some of the faces had been there and are not acting hunger. Burton King directed, 1919.
