1923 · US
Directed by Allan Dwan
A music-hall singer in a French town, a diplomat who tries to stay away, a swing rope cut by a rival, and a wife who turns up. Gloria Swanson plays the star as someone who would rather be on stage than in the plot, and Allan Dwan agrees with her; the performance on the swing is the film. H. B. Warner is the diplomat. Paramount, 1923.
