In the mountains of Japan, wild painter Tatsu believes his lost fiancée was transformed into a dragon. Brought to Tokyo as heir to master Kano Indara, he marries the painter's daughter Ume-ko and promptly loses the divine gift that grief had given him. Sessue Hayakawa and Tsuru Aoki star in this 1919 Haworth production, shot in Yosemite and later added to the National Film Registry.
