Scientists make a man in a laboratory who can do everything except love, and when he learns what he is he sets out to run the world. Olaf Fønss plays the creature in a black cloak that men in Berlin copied. Metropolis and Caligari were years away, and this serial had already built their rooms. Otto Rippert for Deutsche Bioscop, 1916, six parts and about six hours.
