A count steals an explosive formula, kidnaps the inventor's daughter, and holds her in a real fortress on the coast, so the stone does the production design and the thriller is mostly stairs. Georg af Klercker was the other Swedish director, the one Bergman later argued for. Hasselblad, Gothenburg, 1916, an hour.
