Directed by Roscoe Arbuckle
Arbuckle as a country boy whose girl (Minta Durfee) is being talked into the city by a slicker while he is under the car, fixing a tire. Keystone, 1914. The title is the whole plot and the joke: Lizzie is not led so much as briefly borrowed. Arbuckle directed. The city restaurant, the country return, the chase, already the template Sennett would run for years. Durfee (Arbuckle's wife) plays the girl who is never quite as dumb as the men need her to be.
